Magic Peach Cobbler

INGREDIENTS:

 

1 stick unsalted butter

I cup self-rising flour

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)

 

PREPARATION:

 

Preheat oven to 375°

 

Place butter in 8x8 baking dish or small cast iron skillet and place in oven. Allow butter to melt.

 

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla until just combined. Lumpy is okay.

 

Carefully pour mixture over the melted butter in the pan. Do not mix or stir.

 

Place pan back in oven and bake 40-45 minutes until the top is browned and juices are bubbling.

 

Remove from oven and allow to cool.
